Thanks guys. I have always like the idea of teles, but never really felt like they were my kind of guitar. Plus I recently discovered that tele necks are too narrow for me (didn't ever put that together when I had a classic vibe tele a few years ago). Conky is right - the neck is fucking perfect. I realized a while back that I'm most comfortable on my Schecter C1 neck, and this is pretty much the same. But the back is bare wood. And feels like titties. Sweet sweet titties. Titties.

It's even prettier in person. The green somehow became very very important to me. I got new strings today, so I will see how well it holds up against the epi les paul tonight. If it does as well as expected, I will probably be selling the shit out of the epi in the near future.

Those are stock pickups - not Novaks. I wish they were somehow Novaks though :animal:

I still like the GVT a lot actually. I'm not so slowly realizing that I need to do something about the speakers in that fucking cab. Just sounds kinda dark and dull. Which isn't the amps fault. In the mean time, I will probably pick up some Tungsol preamp tubes to lend some brightness and sparkle over the JJs that are currently in there. Having said that, I pretty much constantly wonder if I should buy a Fender Superchamp x2 head to have for 'pretty' cleans. Plus it has a Supersonic dirt model, which for some reason is extremely interesting to me recently.

i like boobs too...but titties are better, smaller and well proportioned.

that Green Tele look rad man...i'm a huge fan of schecter guitars that don't have EMG's. I haven't tried the tele but did try a Tempest a while ago and that thing was soft like titties but heavy like boobs.

BTW...i love the green rig...the blackstar the cab...and now the tele...very cool! How do you have the dirt channel set up on the blackstar? i found the best setting was to dime the bass/mid/treb and put the ISF nearly all the way british and gain at 3 o'clock, to get a nice doomy distortion

and what a group that is...so whats happening in Sept? recording, touring???

I must've missed this the other day. We're going to do some recording at the end of august. 9/14 is our next show and it's a big one with Valient Thorr, Lord Dying and Ramming Speed. Then we have a little west coast tour in October. From the sounds of things we'll work our way down south and pick up Mars Red Sky and then work our way back up. I believe we're playing at Peter's place, SLO DIY on that trip. Allegedly the album will be out before we hit the road. I'm crossing my fingers!

And I will just leave this here because everybody deserves a little bit of Lord Dying http://lorddying.bandcamp.com/

The tungsol I put in my Blackstar made me a believer. Hybrid or not (it is) the tungsol alleviated a lot of my gripes with it.

I have always wanted to try a Tempest. And I've been gassing for a hollow body Corsair as well. Hopefully they are moving away from only developing shit for the xcorex kids.

I love that I have a green rig as well. Ever since I saw that cab I was pretty much determined to have a bunch of green guitar related shit. Which is weird, but I don't care. I actually have it set up for a tighter mid-high gain crunchiness that I boost with my overdrives. Treble at like 2oclock, mids at 11oclock, bass at 2oclock and ISF around 10clock. Compliments the Ampeg/Elements pretty well that way.
