It's a decent pedal (in the stock form, soundwise that is, construction, I assume anyone but Devi will do a better job) if you're gunning for that. I have almost every older Devi circuit on tap in various boxes, and while I have personal issues, several of them are integral to what I need to be happy at this point.

The brand, no matter who "owns" it, isn't ever getting another dollar from me, because some of that money goes back to her. I'll do clones all day long.

That roland looks great though, most of the complaints I've heard have been small things and most of them were actually easily fixable through the menus. Let me know what you think of it. I've been on the fence for a while, but always end up buying more guitar stuff instead.

what were the complaints? I haven't spent -too- much time with it yet, but it sounds top shelf and is very intuitive. the scatter function is SO SICK. I ran it through the microbrute for a bit and was blown away by how heavy it sounded I'm a bit jaded tho; I settled for an open box one cause they didn't have any fresh and it has a bit of wear.. 25% off is cool, but it was caked and the dude helping me kept smashing the keys like a little kid. time will tell if I keep it/trade it in.
