Incoming ACMEVERB!!!!
Well besides delay, reverb is my second favorite effect (maybe tied or close to fuzz)....
I came across a chance to own this and couldn't pass it up.

Some info from the current owner:
"The blue unit is an ACMEverb built by Jesse Quitslund. Unless you live in the Northwest, you've probably never heard of him, but he is a bit legendary around here and has a long history as a tech for some of the biggest bands in the world. He currently is tech for Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Deathcab for Cutie (tho I think they recently split up). He's also a genius when it comes to gear and builds pretty exclusive gear for famous bands including some killer amps. He doesn't advertise, so he has remained a little golden nugget for us common folk. The ACMEverb is just the best verb I've ever owned. It is a tube driven with PTP NOS parts. He uses a NOS "FB" style reverb pan to achieve a deep verb that isn't "boingy". You can also overdrive the piss out of it as he uses a 1484 pre-amp. Very cool and unique verb that has huge bottom-end on tap. Jessie is a verb fanatic and the ACMEverb is his love child."
Won't be able to get it until after the holidays though...

Okay finally got to play from both the Heretic and musket for comparison. The Heretic might be based on a muff? I'm not to knowledgeable in standard fuzzes to know, I'm leaning towards the "probably not" camp. If I Fuck with the settings I can sometimes roughly match the musket to the Philly Heretic, but the heretic has a super grainy gravelly tone with a hint of octave up. It's quite versatile for three knobs. I'll do some Instagram demos tomorrow.

maybe a fuzz face... OTL I need to become more acquainted with the classics.

The Super Spring Theory (the last of my Black Friday spree) will be drop shipped from Subdecay on Wednesday. Geeked, as I don't really have a source of spring that I'm crazy about.
