I went a little TGP on my Les Paul last night...

i ordered the Faber bridge and stoptail kit last week and installed it last night...

now, i havent plugged it in...and i'm not one for TGP bullshit fads...but this faber kit is amazing!

acoustically the guitar is just so much louder, the notes pop and sustain a lot more...almost sounds like a semi-acoustic. I cant wait to plug it in and see how it sounds amplified, but if the unplugged difference is anything to go by (which it should) this is the best LP modication out there...i think more important that pickup changes.

I'm ignorant. What's so special about the construction of this bridge?

yea that's what I feel with slayer. it went from being passionate for writing what they like or enjoy to writing what they think the fans want to hear more of or what will get them more fans.

"he Acapulco Gold is an original power-amp distortion circuit from our friends at EarthQuaker Devices that's based on a dimed Sunn Model T. "

I still want to know what this is, did anyone trace it?

The Acapulco Gold is pretty much a one knob fuzz face on steroids. Instead of transistors, it runs dual JRC386 ic's. The PCB is pretty discrete, but as you can see not alot to the circuit...

Wait up, I thought initially this pedal was not based on but just "sounded a lot like a Model T".....when hipster marketing attacks.

Having said that I still want a model t.

I could use a Model T myself, although I'd probably never get to turn the thing past 2.

I've had my Acapulco Gold for a few months now, and I still love the thing. Its just a no bullshit distortion blaster, that can clean up some. Pretty much the only dirt pedal I've been using and really like the 1 knob simplicity.

Yeah dude, one knobs are the best. But between my Ape Blaster and my Dunwich One Knob Fuzz I don't think I really need anything else in that territory.
I believe I am covered.

Anybody know how to get a hold of the guys at Black Arts Toneworks? Their emails keep bouncing back insisting their inbox is full or some shit. I'm trying to figure out the range on each of the Boneshaker's parametric EQ controls so I can use it in a more comprehensive way. This is a bad box right here.
