They're one of those bands where certain songs really get me while 75% feels like filler. Some really cool tones though!

Well, duh.

bazinga.

You got a true laugh out of me and that made the day so far.

I would sig this if it wasn't so damned big. LOL

I was never a big fan of APTBS but kbit is in town and he hooked me up with a ticket. It was fucking mindbending. I may be a fan now. I have yet to listen to more than one song in a row and the last time I did that was several months ago. I like that one song where the video has the main dude looking at TV's alot. I think he throws one out a window? Anyway, see them live!

Hey guys, for those of you who have preamp ins on your amps, do you use them? Now that I have three different kind of amps I'm thinking about branching off into collecting more stand along preamps. I already got an Orange/Matamp and an Empress Paraeq, and I really want to get that Acoustic 360 preamp pedal and a Meatsmoke at some point in time, but I'm racking my brain thinking of other awesome preamps that aren't just a FMV tonestack.

The Mills amps look great but up close they are a let down. They seem like toys. The one Matt has (100 watt Atlas Moth) weighs about 10 lbs. The shell is thin plywood with no corner protectors. The tone sounds good enough for recording it seems really weak to me in a cranked live setting. I haven't seen the insides but I'm thinking its a dressed up kit with a mod or two. Matt's Musicman HD150 kicked that things ass at a fraction of the price. Its a shame he got rid of it. I'd have loved to have it.

That's a bummer. Early stages of the company, they'll do some learning and turn it all around some day I'm sure.

That's sorta what I expected. this reminded me to go check the video of the working 400w or if he even posted it like he said he would. also note he was quoting people 1500 on that.

If I had the cash I would of grabbed another one for my bass board. Someday I will though. They are just so versatile for a one knob one switch fuzz. They can get dark for heavy riffing and for palm muting, brighter in the other switch setting to cut through on a solo and can also get some crazy oscillation going when you back off the guitar volume. Also sustain for days. Awesome for guitar and bass. What more do I need to say about them. :thumb:
