Last night i was finally able to play a bit and i recorded straight from the pedalboard in the audio interfacea couple of decent jams, one of which sounded unexpectedly good even when i listened to it today (usually i delete the 90% of my jams the moment i re-listen to them

).
I decided to give it a rough cleanup with Ableton (just worked a bit on EQ and reverb to make it warmer) and upload it.

Being in a pedalboard re-assembling phase, i picked a handful of pedals, so the signal chain was: Bakfram-Tremolo-Tensor-Atmosphere-Rubberneck.
All the pitch jumping sequence i used as base loop is from a really short sample i recorded on the Tensor and then either mangled moving manually the pitch knob or left doing its thing with high random levels while i was playing guitar or other pedals.

I've been on such a high lately. I quit smoking and have been quite calm and clear headed. Everytime I sit at the OP-1 I feel like a new idea on how to use it pops into my head. Acoustic recordings with a heavily overdriven EQ to make noise walls? I made a 2 track thing using this idea and for those of you who like noise might appreciate it. I feel like it feels kind of like a massage

It is very much my bag, and this record is rad! Really loving it, made it my last purchase of fee-free bandcamp day.

New EP: all synthy stuff I've been doing during lockdown. Nice to sit down and noodle on the flashy light blip blop machines sometimes.

Not sure exactly which bits you mean but almost certainly Mutable Instruments Rings! Most sounds in this are that or the mother 32, with some sampled lap steel in one track.
