Broke down and picked up an RV-3 and LF-7 for pretty cheap. Second go round with the RV-3. I think it will work well with my current fuzzes. LF-7 has been on my want list forever and was only $30. Can't beat that, even if it isn't a full-time pedal on my board. Might be fun with the Fuck.

I have it last, after delay and everything. Or I put it after distortion but before modulation. Everything that happens before is like what goes into the shitty tape recorder. Then you put the LF-7 on, and that is like it losing bandwidth and getting a bit distorted when it hits the tape. Then you modulate it with a slow pitch vibrato and your tape reels need to be tightened.

I have the Penny Pedals radio deluxe on my gig board because I like the resonance megaphoney stuff you can do, but the LF-7 used to be on there, and it is on my backup board. I use it a lot just to push stuff backwards in the mix, especially lead lines with delay. Or for breaks with one guitar. Then you turn it off and the whole band kicks in. It's great. It really doesn't take your ear a lot of time to adjust to the limited bandwidth, which makes it really... um... adjective... when you get the whole band and all the frequencies back. Rad.
