Great amp for pedals on the clean channel. The gain channels are pretty sweet as well, though I rarely use them personally. I have used it with a few boosts and overdrives here and there to pull off a lot of different high gain tones when recording bands in the past.

These amps rule. They sell for next to nothing which is totally insane to me.
Khemmis and Gary are 100% responsible for my Carvin gas.
Of course this amp is revealed to me right when I'm getting some extra cash and trying to get shit straight.

I wish fucking guitar center took fucking paypal instead of running my credit card. I try not to put anything on my card... even if I pay it off immediately.. mainly cause the wife sees the charge and questions why another :picard:

I thought GC can take paypal if you order through the website.

I've bought used online from GC with PayPal recently, more than once. The regular site with new stuff definitely takes PayPal.

I shall take a look then. it has been awhile since I have ordered on GC. I've only done it 4 times, twice it had to be returned and a 3rd had to get refunded everything but the shipping since the speakers were bullshit and didn't work.

I've witnessed an in store PayPal transaction at GC, you need to have the card though.

I've been lucky, I've had some killer deals with used stuff from GC online lately. I got a decent hardtail Ibanez shredder type guitar that goes for over $200 new for $90 shipped and it was almost in new condition when it arrived. I just bought some nicer locking tuners and a hot rail pickup for the bridge to spruce it up, gotta do that or bring it to someone soon. I've been looking at maybe getting a solid state Randall head or something like that from them, to do another powerviolence project or something. I wish I hadn't sold my SS150 I used to use for that stuff.

yea you should've never sold that SS150. they are so great.

and I don't know how you guys got something with paypal but it's not an option.

I sold it to someone on a forum, because they were specifically looking for one and I hadn't used mine in a year. That was a mistake, because while I thought I was doing someone a solid, they just turned around and flipped it immediately. If I had known they were going to do that I would have just kept it. So big deal, I'm not that emotionally invested in specific amps. I can get the kind of tones I like from solid state amps through a lot of different brands/models.

Really nice looking Randall combo in the same era as above, less than a hundo! What's the deal with these? Just big clean power platforms for pedals? I'm used to the high gain era Randall SS amps.

they can be used as clean power platforms though with my RG300 it can get really nasty doomy.. almost exactly like tube breakup.
