Got back from doing deliveries all morning and found this waiting for me at work. Just opened the box...

I brought my guitar and small pedalboard with me today, so I can throw Mr. Grumpy on top there and try it out after work. The rest of the day cannot go fast enough.

and with the addition of one cab, the balance of power in the universe shifts.

on other cab news, i think something is fucked with my cab...a while ago with a different head i noticed a random intermittent crackling sound, and after trying everything i put it down to the amp head...last night playing through a different amp head, i noticed the sound again. I thought it was cabling, but i put the guitar straight through to the amp with a different cable and the noise was still there...so maybe a speaker is blown or cold solder joint???

any ideas what it could be?
do i need new speakers?
what can i check for when i open the back to have a look?

sounds like a short or connection fail. I'd open it up, flow any soldered joins and clean and tighten any connections that are male/female. If it does it after that, problems.

And test with different cables and guitar.
