I got a chance to jam out with Mr. Grumpy into my Ampeg 810 last night. New drummer who just moved into the area, who actually is into doom/stoner related genres. So that was good times, the amp sound monstrous and I never got it above noon on the master volume.

This amp would not be reasonable or make sense as a NMV, it's totally clean. I have my YBA-1 and the Rhythm channel on my X100B for NMV goodness.

I mean design wise. It's a totally clean, hifi power amp. It doesn't break up cranked. I'm fine with unreasonable volume.

Well it's pure damn sex.
Corey, if that drummer does not stick around after hearing that, well, I can't really conceive why they wouldn't. Mr Grumpy sounds like the perfect amp for those of us who like total control and using peds for dirt.

Dudes! Checking in from Sacramento.
Getting to play with Flux in Tacoma and Druden in Portland was a fucking blast. John cooked up some killer grub and everything about Tac/Oly was great. John's dual rig setup is heavvvvvy.
This was my first time in Portland, and that city is just pretty damn neat. Parker, thank you for the kind words on my tone. Y'all have gotta hear that Dunwich HM2 in His setup. So. Damn. Good. As was everything about Druden. Blows my mind that they aren't the face of USBM. Hopefully they will be soon and we can be done with this hyper fashionable, introspective navel-gazing "post/artsy/black gaze" or whatever that is so popular.
Didn't think to grab a picture with John, Darren, or anyone in WA. Sorry dudes! But here is a Doom Room pair of bearded warriors hanging out at High Water Mark.

If any DR folks head out to catch us on the last five or so shows, get at me and let's grab a beer! Meeting (and playing heavy shows with) other DR folk is seriously awesome.

He seems like a cool guy and not a flake, so hopefully it works out. He's kind of in the same boat as me. He's a responsible adult who likes heavy music within these genres, hasn't played much over the past year and really wants to get back into it.

Glad tour is going well man! You guys make a mighty pair of wizards - I'm assuming that's Parker, right?
