Also, I apparently ordered this yesterday :
22500 Picture

I'm disappointed that they did not include any trigger-based external sync though.
Still, I've been only using my DD20 for looping for maybe 8 years and this should open new possibilities (sound sources -> DD20 -> 22500)...

You could probably jumper a switch/trigger jack over off the stop/tap one...

Or figure out what kind of signal the FC jack takes (don't really know how they are doing it...probably somekind of pulse?) and do something that way?

But it kind of ruins the pedal haha...but I am sure it is possible.

Curious to hear your thoughts on it too...Be nice to have a looper around...(that isn't on something else)

Yeah, I'm curious about it too. I read the manual, checked all the info I could find online and decided that even without the sync in it would be really useful for me. The price is decent too, the other similar option is the Pigtronix Infinity but it's twice the price here.

At first I thought the rhythm section was completely useless (I really don't care about this stuff at all) but they're actually just a bunch of wav files in a folder with a text file for each detailing the tempo/etc. so it should be super easy to replace them with some of my sounds and use these in addition to the 2 looper tracks. The only thing is that the rhythm tracks are not time-stretched like the looper tracks but that's not a big issue.

And the FC input is only used to change banks. Depending on the hardware they could maybe add a firmware update to have some setting to use it as a tap tempo/trigger input. I'll have to send EHX a mail about that...

I think I have more GAS for the enclosure itself than the Boss Driver, but I'd still take the Driver. :D

Buying from the UK isn't exactly a piece of piss either :)

How do you like the 12 Step? Had one of those on my list forever but never pulled the trigger...

it would be PERFECT if i had midget feet, or if they put about a half inch more space between each step key.

but yeah. it is NICEEEEEEE. so cool to be able to do single note something paddy or movement'y while playing bass with TWO hands not just one. NEAT.

I knew some of their footswitches were interchangable which is why I mentioned it (HOG, 16 sec delay (or was it the 45800?), I think)

I think that rhythm section wav upload idea could be a blast...too bad they can't be stretched though.

That would be neat if they would update the firmware...would open up a whole world of possibilities...be neat if they did it, but they might feel like it would make it compete against their own 45000 (even though I know it's foot controller doesn't have it either...but I dunno, they might want to keep it feature light so they can move more big ones or something silly and it does have midi)...

Maybe they would just do it as an extra secret mode (like hold tap when turning on).

Convince them! I see potential! If I ever cross one at a good used price, I will try to adapt the CV control switch I made (relay switch).

Good luck and waiting for your reports...

You should list them as raw, uneffected DI tracks because the tone is in your fingers and you don't need no help from nobody else in figuring it out.

You know, to be true to the spirit of their creator.
