awwwwwww.............

but your picks smell like mint and the dust from the can gives them extra grip.

I stopped using my altoid cans for pics however as my paperclips were getting out of control and I found I liked little strips of double sided tape for pics so I could have em all over

Yep the sonic violence is a rat with a built in boost in a giant enclosure pretty much. Always liked large footprint pedals for some reason (I guess because space isn't an issue at the moment)

And the Altoids tin is mandatory for good toanz

It's too bad he's burned his bridges here in ILF. Because his pedals all look top notch and I love my Holy Mountain.
(It's made by Midnight Amplification/Nic Belor by the way)

Yeah he has some cool designs. I didn't know about everything that happened here until AFTER I ordered a holy mountain direct from him (on May 15th, a little out of the 2-4 week range  ) when it eventually/hopefully gets here I'm just gonna sell it, I can't really imagine it doing anything my LWA120 can't do. I'd probably buy more midnight stuff, just from a dealer.

Yeah, I mean, I don't know whether to chalk it up to him being in Australia or if he just sucks at the business portion of pedal making. :idk:
Honestly, I didn't really have an issue with the wait I had (I think it was like 6 weeks in the middle of holiday season), but I've seen a lot of horror stories about wait time here.
I have talked to him a few times about circuits, though, and he's been pretty friendly and up front. So, take that as you will.

I just did a quick search and re-read some of the history, am I missing a side to this?

He deleted his shark tank and everything in it a while back, unsure of the details as I *mostly* just lurk here

always more than one side to things, this whole pedal thing is a weirdly personal business in some ways.
Builder access and instant feedback are very cool, but I can't imagine the headaches,

Your board is flipping sick by the way

where's D.o.S with his knowledge pasta.. the jist of it is a bunch of members here got dicked around by him until they filed paypal claims (I personally waited 3 months with excuse after excuse. like serious personal shit that may have been true, but I later found out he was reusing these family emergency excuses with other members...like some compulsive liar shit IMO). he deleted all negative criticism in his shark tank and never even addressed the issue... I'm really surprised he still has a spot here. there was a canadian dealer that flipped his shit at cost as soon as they got it, because of the hassle it was to work with him. there's also that one time he completely ripped Science's aesthetic for his amp, etc, etc. no doubt his shit sounds & looks cool, but it also stinks.

that's the general summary of what I read, bad at business and all.....too bad....stuff looks cool

not sure at what point you separate builder ethics from this gear is so cool.....I guess if you never get the gear it makes the decision for ya.

Thanks friend :hello:

I agree, out of all the forums I've frequented over the years pedal building always seemed like one of the more personal businesses, short of maybe luthierie.
im pretty patient, I just hope I'm not waiting too much longer.

Best Altoids tin I've seen, though.
