cool mini board.

The white knobs on your mini looks cool. I had black knobs on mine. Maybe I'll grab some knobs on my next parts purchase. :thumb:

This is my current collection with the exception, I just ordered a Smallsound/Bigsound TAFM. I'll probably change the order they're in when I get the TAFM and see which sounds the best to me.

dirt on bottom is pretty cool

I like that idea

how does the routing work?

An HM-2, CT5, and (another) tremloessence is on my list. It might be time finally sell off this cheepo board and get a nice(er) board and a good power supply.
What are you thoughts on the Model feT?

Thoughts on the Giant Sound?
I've been really interested in that and the Model feT to maybe replace my Holy Mountain on the doom board.

If we ever step on them at the same time in the same city, the wrath and power will be felt from Easterhouse to Byres Rd :excellent:

I really like the Giant Sound! I have it first in my signal chain, set it clean and leave it on pretty much all the time. I didn't like the high gain settings as much as I thought I would but it's clean to crunch sounds are great. I've never played the Holy Mountain. I went to CME hoping to try one but they only had 1 left in stock and it was at their warehouse. I would love to try a Model feT and compare it with the Giant Sound.

Thanks! The signal path is tuner > Giant Sound > Mini > Fuck > Buzzz > Acapulco Gold > Super Fuzz > Big Mudd > Meteore > Afterneat > Kilobyte > Ditto (the ditto isn't in frame) I might try putting the Fuck last or after the reverb and delay. I've read a few posts on here that say that's a cool spot for it.

Dirt row for easier Loud Quiet Loud :)

Glad you like the giant sound, that's one I was looking to get but I'm currently at almost 2 months for my holy mountain so I don't think I'm gonna be getting any more midnight unless it's from a dealer.

Woof! That's a long time to wait. I waited until Chicago Music Exchange had it in stock. That way if I didn't like it or anything was wrong with it I could return it without the hassle of sending it back to Australia and whatnot.

Does any store in the US stock the Model feT?

Yeah I shoulda waited because CME got a big shipment in of Midnight stuff not long ago and that included a slew of holy mountains, but I think i can wait. I got a skyhorse through CME that arrived with a loose blob of solder knocking around and a fucked up knob and selector switch so im glad i got that one through a dealer here in the US. Made exchanging nice and painless.
Honestly though I can't imagine the holy mountain doing anything my Lone Wolf lwa120 doesnt do so I'll probably end up selling it once it gets here, whenever that'll be.

Model feTs I believe are done occasionally in batches, sign up for electronic audio experiments mailing list to get a heads up before some go up for sale. I want one something fierce, i get emails and I've been trolling his instagram and Facebook pages like mad.

Yeah, Motor City is a great shop. Usually have some Dr. Scientist around...between that and Detroit Modular, I try not to drive down your way or my kids won't have any mac 'n 'cheese or whateverthefuck they eat.
