Thank you very much. song/riffs yea I know are the typical but sometimes the typical just overtakes where I have to do it so I can refocus on new stuff.

I'm getting some Dunwich action in my life. Trading my Jazzmaster to Chuck from Snake Oil for a Cthulhu fuzz plus cash. Saw him using it when we played some shows together and he had a super thick tone. Can't wait to mess around with it.

:omg: :!!!: :omg: :joy:

Enjoy

Nice! You are required to make Ritual/Cthulhu comparison clips.

Provided the apple is mounted in some sucker's mouth or on their head and the chainsaw is thrown William Tell style, I could watch that.

You can still commute though. Joe Preston the fuck outta that shit.

I do have a 'new' vehicle... If I could afford gas, that would be awesome. Make a sweep through Mississippi and Georgia and record a ton of noise, then ride off to the north to enjoy winter. When I win the lotto, I'll be on the way.

Yep. They seem to get mentioned in the same conversations a lot because they are both one knob fuzzes that bring the heavy. I know they aren't the same thing, but it would be nice to have a clip that highlighted the differences in the same rig.

Unless you meant an actual recording of an apple and a chainsaw, then yes to that as well.

Awesome drumming there ShaolinLambKiller. :thumb: I could never play that fast or tight even if I took amphetamines. My drumming leans more towards stoner/doom tempos.

Speaking of Cthulhus

Chris has a hybrid unit running on one side of this live recording from the Slomatics practice space.

Its already on in one of the channels at that point. I think there is some phaser on Dave's sound that comes on a little bit before that.

However at 2:27 thats likely the open F# sharp note and the F# octave adding in from there very weird tuning. That note is super heavy

SLK, I wish there was someone around here with similar drum chops. Then Mental Waste could actually be a real band that plays shows.

That Slomatics practice video is damned cool, those guys slay.
