Before, when my board was just a single linear series of pedals, I would typically have the song very firmly planned out, and then apply a couple effects to the signal based on what I was playing.
Seems like I've improved my game overall...but I'm not yet that adept at wielding this mighty weapon.
This is exactly why I cant have complicated setups. Paralysis by analysis.

Yea, it's why I haven't bought any Chasebliss Pedals. I know I would get so hosed up, that I would just pick one nice setting and leave it there forever.

The complexity has to be offset by presets or midi, or I don't want it. That's why I really like the Chase Bliss stuff. I can tweak forever, save it, and call it up anytime a want and have it synced to everything else without having to remember or think about anything really. It's initially complex, but it's very simple in the end.

Yeah tru.dat
An all-CBA board isn't what I'd consider overly complex until you get into midi controllers, programming and parallel setups. That's where I tend to overthink things and the gear gets in my way. But part of their genius is they can be used simply in-series to spectacular results, with the potential for intricate triggering. I would be very pleased with a Warped Vinyl, Wombtone, Spectre, Tonal Recall time/mod fx section

Basically this though I don't use stereo so its a moot point really. Its really cool with all the expression control though. If it had any amount of modulation on the delay it would fucking tits tho.

The thing I like about chase bliss pedals, after owning just one, is that you can make them simple or you can make them complex. The Gravitas is my trem and I use it very basically. Its small with tap tempo and that's what I needed to fill a hole in my board. I usually forget about the dip switches. But if I want to play with them they are there to mess with. Its the perfect blend of tech and functionality.

I move pedals a lot. So, for me, the Patchulator was a godsend. My biggest problem with it? Now, I need ANOTHER ONE!

Yep, I have a Spectre and that little switch is a total game changer!
