I have perpetual GAS, because there's almost always a space on my pedalboard left open haha. I even moved my Pedal Power on top of my board to take up a space, even though I have the pedals to fill it :idk: i'm really looking for a sick reverb and the Earthquaker Ghost Echo and SolidGoldFX Surf Rider III have been driving me CRAZY

:wha?: This seems to be a world wide problem. Postal services become more unreliable and dumber each day.

not sure if this was completely dumb or some type of dumb/shady hybrid
i think the dude signed for my package himself

good news is guitar is in hand,
Bad news, it is sitting in my office with no amp

initially though I like it alot,
hopefully I can plug it in at lunch and give it a test drive

That is what I figured happened (or left on his truck). Pretty common for FedEx. Seen FedEx, DHL, and UPS all sign for it themselves and USPS just ignore the signature. My friend got lucky that I found his 20 year old master tapes he shipped from the UK when USPS just threw them in my neighbors backyard (had signature and restricted delivery).

Congrats UC. Honestly that video did not capture the sound at all.

The bass is completely cut. If you look at the knob on the camera stand in the foreground of the shot and the CT5, you can see them move/rattle around from the bass frequencies that were shaking the whole room. It was extremely loud with really deep bass in the small room with just the Sunn Sorado and 6x10 cab. Room shaker. But, of course, GoPro cut/attenuated all those frequencies out.

Sorry, but that video is not at all representative of the sound. It was more to show work flow/more in a live environment because the only other demo out is more like an art project or something. Also that gravel sound may have been more on the CT5.

Oh, I know about the bass cut, you told me already

I'm used to hearing demos of stuff I want, captured with devices not up to the challenge

I meant more the functionality of the thing. :thumb:

Can't wait to dig around in gravel on saturday with Eivind :joy:

I've been wanting that badly, especially on bass. I hate shimmer on guitar, but on bass it's tasty. :snax:

Curious about the Keeley Caverns...(mentioned in Keeley-dodging-ILF thread), is there really a lag when engaging the pedal? Like significant enough to break a riff or flow? I read a review where the guy said that there was a noticable lag between engagement and the actual pedal being engaged. Just seemed odd to me (but wondering if the dude was just expecting too much or one of those blues lawyers or something).

Really? Don't a lot reverbs have this issue? As long as it doesn't cut your output off like the RV-3 did to me. :idk: Like, at least for me the lag has to be really significant to matter with something like a reverb, unlike say a distortion that's more immediate. :idk:

Man that looks like the ultimate pre-dirt atmosphere box

Well maybe not ultimate but I'm definitely interested.

I would've gotten it for that purpose if it wasn't for my No Memory, and even then I might get it until the NM is fixed.

I'm not much into the reverb side of things, so I don't know from personal experience (the ones I had never had this problem). I seem to think I remember that he said everything cut for a few ms when engaged...maybe it was broken :idk: . I was just curious. I don't know the dude, just read about it because I was a little curious, though I would probably never pick one up.

But the few reverbs I have had (Alamo tank, DBA RM, Boss RRV-10...maybe some on a multfx or something) never had that problem that I could tell. RRV-10 was a noisy junk device too. So I dunno. haha.
