Me, too. Really, I just want her to get one so I can play on it. She wants a XT250, though.

Not gonna spoil your moment talking about cons with the DL4. And seriously, there only are a few. Don't have one anymore, but it's probably the pedal that's done most for me as far as songwriting goes. Good stuff.

I'm aware. I plan on getting mine modded to avoid issues.

Seriously so stoked.

Not so bad, think I'd still rather have a Grom though. :thumb:

I'm not fucking rich like some people here seem to be. Besides, got plenty of big amps at the rehearsal house. :)*

Voltron heads for knobs would rule hard.
I thought old 80s toys were through the roof for prices?

mostly for complete toys. Damaged or partial toys are fairly worthless.

Sweet.
Time to scour the interwebs.

Calls my name.

I'm feeling a new live setup that includes the following:

Octatrack
Mother 32 x2
Minibrute
Analog Rytm
Volca Keys or Pocket Piano (some kind of small polysynth so I don't have to lug Prophet 6/8)
+ all my pedals

Could be a nice lineup.

Oh man that sounds so sweet

Awesome! If I only had a spare grand to buy it.

Particularly interesting features.
  • Sorta adjustable wow & flutter by using different length tapes.
  • The ability to prerecord the echo source via the tape before manipulating the delay, feedback, etc
  • The built in fx loop for the delay signal (not sure of any other tape machines with this
  • How cheap it is to actually replace the tape

Biggest con:
  • Finite amount of record time
  • You have to remember to rewind cassettes or flip it after you get through a whole cassette.

I don't know, man. I got my maxon/Evans for 300 and re-201 for 400 or something this year. Its just not worth it my opinion. Sure it looks nice and all, just not feeling it [and I much prefer tape to just about anything I'm the delay realm].

Well yeah I'd never drop the money for one but the way I'm still gonna gush over those repeats. All in good fun.
