Man, if I didn't have to play an instrument on stage I'd totally do something like that.

Bitquest with exp out to my guitar would be SO. FUN.

Do you just want a voltage controlled by a knob ? If you don't need precise voltages you could probably have that with a 9V battery, a knob and maybe a couple of other components (or add a voltage regulator to get more precise).

If you want to control things based on the amplitude/volume of your signal, you need an envelope follower. Basically, any slew limiter could work dut dedicated envelope followers have easier/better controls usually.

If you want to control based on pitch then it's much more complicated. Though now there are some modules that allow you to get decent pitch tracking (you could put them in a small Pittsburgh pedal/case thing). The Expert Sleepers Disting has a pitch tracking mode that apparently works well.

So yeah, not as simple as something right in the guitar but you can that too... Won't be cheap though :!!!:

If you just need an envelope follower you can probably get someone to build you that in pedal form, shouldn't be too complicated.

I was mostly thinking as a substitute for an expression pedal. Not for synth stuff.

I think that is what oscillateur was refering to in the first part. This would work for things that require a CV voltage (stuff that says things like 0-5v range). This method just isn't precise which he why oscillateur mentioned the other ones.

But....for the bitquest you just need a pot of the correct value wired to the correct lugs of a stereo jack.

Really easy actually. Roland 50k audio taper, Moog 100k audio taper(probably knew all that stuff...just been thinking of the same thing for a long time)...also rig it up like a Framus organ effect: http://www.guitarporn.co.uk/post/296260 ... to-de-luxe

Dear SS mark,
there is something very special in the works for you as of now.
There are things being mailed from places to places in order to assemble a Voltron of awesomeness.
Fucking deal with it.

GAS is hitting me hard this year. Looking at a Tremolessence at the moment. It just seems so versatile.
Yes or no?
