Awesome, UC! Kinda want a board of that and the Witch Burner...but I am color blind (but the pen and ink style stylings kinda match).

I hope to demo it over the course of next week. School and rehersals have me a bit swamped at the moment. But, yeah, there will definitely be a demo! Very inspirational pedal! :zen:

Well. I just spent way too much money on screws, electronics, pickups, tuning heads, and other much needed guitar bits and pieces.

This does mean I can finally clean my place of all the guitar carcasses laying around and make real fully functioning instruments.

Microngranny 2 -> CT5 -> Wizard of pitch -> Particle.

Granular on granular on granular. :animal:

I don't know what a microgranny is, but it sounds nsfw. I have a particle though, and a ct5 incoming. Granular demo?

Yeah. Delay and modulation make it awesome.

My wife and I both tried real hard for a while to track melodies, and it's a fucking bitch. I like more sound effect-y sounds.

I'm very curious about using the cv outs on the thermin to control my moogerfoogers, or sub37. Or both. Why limit myself to just one or the other?

Opted out of the Snazzy? Sounds like an epic boner.

Dark Barn wrote:Dude the new Decomposer looks excellent. I've tried the older circuit and I really felt it could use an input gain control. So many of the switch configs seem to like a different volume to yield the best textures. I did however vastly prefer it with a passive signal to active, so, if you don't bond with it, dibs on the flip!

It's amazing as is, but the input volume will make it that much more versatile! I'm very excited! That will make me own almost every production model Mountainking. MUahahahaha. lol

So I also found a legit way to record.

Shure just came out with a iPhone mic and it works fucking AMAZING. My brother and I tested it on live music and it sounded exactly like the music did live. No clipping or weird shit. It's the Shure MV88. Check out the whole line.

Fucking stellar stuff and taking away thousands in costs of recording equipment. Insane.

Bitquest with exp out to my guitar would be SO. FUN.

Do you just want a voltage controlled by a knob ? If you don't need precise voltages you could probably have that with a 9V battery, a knob and maybe a couple of other components (or add a voltage regulator to get more precise).

If you want to control things based on the amplitude/volume of your signal, you need an envelope follower. Basically, any slew limiter could work dut dedicated envelope followers have easier/better controls usually.

If you want to control based on pitch then it's much more complicated. Though now there are some modules that allow you to get decent pitch tracking (you could put them in a small Pittsburgh pedal/case thing). The Expert Sleepers Disting has a pitch tracking mode that apparently works well.

So yeah, not as simple as something right in the guitar but you can that too... Won't be cheap though :!!!:

If you just need an envelope follower you can probably get someone to build you that in pedal form, shouldn't be too complicated.

The only turn off about the microgranny to me is I think you have to use an SD card to load samples onto it, unless you use the built in mic. It would be cool if you could just plug it in to a computer directly. I wanna try one someday.

Incoming:
Catalinbread Formula 5f6, the design is kinda ugly, maybe I'll repaint it or something.

Hate buying stuff like this. Tuner for my table top/drone. $40, so...yeah...nice bright big display. Bypass + normal output...youp. That's the thing. All the rave these days.
