Alrighty, so I've got a email about to go out to Joel and everything else is working perfect now. So weird. I broke open my MTD and surprisingly whoever owned it before me turned the pre trimmer all the way down!! LOL!!! So I fucked with it while play and OMG, it's like having a new bass! Had this thing for 3 years and now I'm even more in love with it! Plus it solved the issue with the Xero somehow? LOL WTF.

Here's my current board. :)

Did you repair the Sub-Octave Synthesizer in the meantime so that it creates the synth sounds again?

Nah still waiting on the chip. It's a great pedal with just the distortion though! It's nice and squashed sounding.

Also the Nemesis is the shit! If only I could get the mother fucking expression pedal to work with it.

With the working chip it should be like this:

The Octave Synth is the follow-up model and I doubt that there are real differences apart from the case design.

Only difference as far as I can tell is that the glitch toggle has become a footswitch and the sub footswitch has become a toggle

So I've had some more time with the Nemesis and the Neuro App. OMFG!!!! This thing is off the hook! Insane! It could literally replace my H9. I'm not fucking joking! The user made algos on the web are nuts! I found so much cool shit, even a fucking algo that's a straight bitcrusher with no delay! hahahaha. I am absolutely in love. This pedal right now seems to do it all. Fuck. I'm half tempted to go all Source Audio...

I have paid zero attention to the Nemesis. Does it do any sort of looping, or even sound-on-sound delay line looping?

You know. I don't think it does have looping. I'm not sure what sound on sound delay line looping is? LOL. Can you explain?

I have other pedals that can loop though.

Sound on sound would be like a longish type delay, so the repeat comes back as a sort of loop, and you continue to play/record over that, maybe there is some degradation or earlier layers begin to fade away. Basically not specifying the start/stop point of a loop but retaining loop like qualities with just a delay. Make sense?

Or, what is the longest delay time? And how does it behave if the feedback is maxed or near-maxed out?

So like the 20 second delay time on the Echolution? You play the foundation part, then next time it comes around, you play a melody line over it, then the next time they both come around, you play embellishment...etc.?

I'm sure it can do that. It's such a vast engine, I can't imagine it wouldn't. I'll mess around on the algos and see for sure.

So from what I'm seeing the longest delay time is 2.6 seconds. So not super long, but certainly long enough for most applications. I read on the gear page someone wanting 8 seconds, which I've never seen, but maybe I'm ignorant.

The pedal oscillates when you max out the feedback or when it's about 3/4th's of the way there it can do that as well. It's pretty crazy. You can get some really strong feedback. hah.
