Yeah, still trying to sell mine. Local dipshits on Craigslist keep emailing me about it with phrases like "I got cash, I want the amp, no bullshit, when can you meet?", I reply immediately and tell them when I'm available and they never get back to me. So I still got it. I can't be bothered to ship that heavy sumbitch.
It's not for clean playing. Mine has always been my go to amp for when I'm not using pedals and just want amp distortion.

Very solid. I mean that's fine if you don't like going into any effort to ship.
But I find it hilarious people email about getting it and then they pretty much immediately drop out. I'm always about wanting to respond to get them goods.

In my experience, the VTM is the better sounding of the two. I had a VTM 60 for a while and a bandmate has a Butcher that mostly just sits on the sidelines because we've not been able to find a way to overcome its treble-y harshness. I bet that's how those little VTM dipswitches we born. The Butcher seems like a very robust amp however. The motherfucker feels like it's made out of solid concrete.

Tube swapping and flats can overcome any treble harshness

Jamming with a new drummer tonight. Stoked as fuck. This could work out really well, and if it does. I'll have a new two piece doom/sludge thing to look forward to working on.
