Well my last purchase before SS came in, I got the VCO I wanted at a great price, and a polarizer with it as well which seems like a really cool module I didn't think about using. Searching about it has me excited though.

Do you play guitar or bass? Wondering how this would sound on guitar, used subtly so as not to annihilate my speakers with subs. Might pick one up before they go away again.

Jelly, I has it. :poke:

Want it to really beef up my VI on certain songs of epicness. Anyone try it with a VI?

I find it difficult to play my Bass VI without a Meatbox anymore. It definitely brings it more into true bass low end.

IMO it didn't track well with guitar using the octave. Without the octave it's essentially just an eq. It adds a lot of low end heft to guitar, but not necessarily in a way I found pleasing. A cheap eq pedal may be better. Or for octave down, an OC-2 or something similar is better for tracking.

Ah OK, thank you. I have a Subdecay Vitruvian I have set for a gritty octave-down sound that I am pretty happy with, I just always wonder about other possibilities when they arise.

This, this so hard. The octave is pretty useless, but it makes my VI sound monstrous. Huge amount of added low end and some subtle glitch with the octave on low settings.

Is it just me or does this seem to happen quite often to masf stuff?

I might just see if I can get it fixed and then throw it at reverb afterwards.

HAVING SAID THAT: The DD-500 can get hella glitchy in places, in some setting of the pattern delay move it essentially becomes a semi random glitch behind your playing. :animal: I just wish the feedback would go way higher than it does. :idk:

Bummer abt Raptio :(  Also, selfishly, I want one bad, so I doubly don't like to hear this. Your erstwhile Possessed is still hangin' there though. :thumb:

Super happy to hear this about DD-500 Patttern mode--I thought this was where the gold was in that pedal--tbh my interest was flagging after hearing all the bog standard demos.

Excellent new avatar btw! :joy: :)*

And i want it as octave down pedal.
It will fight against my MKI Second Voice. I will tell you who won.

My first possessed~ :joy: My second possessed is on its way to blakestree, couldn't pass a good amp up. :p Testament on how much I love that pedal, and how fickle my GAS is.

Or maybe me trying to tell to convince myself that I don't need an anti-nautilus.

Pattern mode is but one of the ways to make the DD-500 glitch, the more I play with it the more it opens up, which is fantastic.

I'm running out of flying whale pictures, need to improvise. :animal:
