That Acapulco Gold on bass sounds nice, actually tried that combo out last night for the first time after seeing Jack Donovan of Elder has been using one in his bass rig lately. My Gibson Grabber sounds absolutely crushing through it.

lol. yeah. tried, and LICKED, 4 different batteries. no go. i didna plug in a psu because i remembered there was something funky about theirs, but couldna remember what.

they said use a "regulated 9 volt tip-positive power adapter". i'm going to swing by Radio Shack and grab one i guess? i would actually way prefer keeping it plugged in.

Yeah it's positive, not negative. Should be an easy adapter to find, though.

the 25 bones is no bigs, but would wayyyyy rather not have to ship and miss it and all.

Moog ones are tip positive I think too, if that helps.

Alan assured me the Ruckus and Huge Box Twos are coming back soon. I know he has a revision planned for the Huge Box, maybe for the Rucks also? I've been helping him a tiny bit with some of the pedal descriptions for his web site, I only gave him a little bit of feedback, but quite honored to be asked, and a few pointers I offered ended up on the page!

You're lucky to have a good relation with Alan. He build cool effects.
When I ordered from him it was a nightmare.

in custom Algal Bloom V2 with clean blend!! this thing.. is a sonic manipulator. choke setting ftw clean blend and volume knob roll-off for .. layerzzz. thanks sooo much for doing what you do Tom. very happy
i started with all knobs at Noon. Good Stuff! right away.
played some Mascis riffs. then did some solo stuff with spaced out delay.
