Or maybe stop taking it so personal. This is how I am, this is how I've always have been. This is how I always will be.

And honestly, this is me at my most reserved and polite.

How can I not take it personally? This is my life, not a hobby. And though I certainly don't expect praise or accolades from you, you could at least not crap on something that I'm obviously super excited about.

Let's say that you were in a working band that got a slot on a tour with a pretty big band that you admired, and not some dude who hoarded crummy amps in a shed in rural Louisiana. Do you think I would tell you, multiple times, how lame I thought that band was?

Spoiler alert: I wouldn't.

If our rolls were reversed. I wouldn't give a rats shit. Exactly like how they are now. Pretty much how you should feel about anything I have to say. But for some reason you harbor on it like it makes a difference in your life. Like you think of it outside of this site. You don't mean anything to me, sorry if you don't like hearing it.

I also don't live in Louisiana.

It's like holy flashbacks to lambgoat MB in the early 2000's where bands and people would get upset when they were told they sucked and come shitstorm till they were either banned or ran off.

I know this is the internet, so this'll be like pissing in the wind, but "Get a thicker skin, bro. I gotta be me" is generally a terrible substitute over just exercising a little common courtesy.

I mean, I'd understand if it was an anonymous Youtube comment or something. That shit is rampant.

But this (in my mind, at least) is a tight-knit community of like-minded people who share stuff with each other. I've met tons of the dudes here on the road, and everyone has always been super cool IRL.

Like I said before, I certainly don't expect a god damn cookie or a fucking parade, Just pump the brakes on the crummy comments.

on the Dunwich...fuck...I hate Corey! (in a good way)

on Red Fang...I got to see them for about 20mins when they were supporting Mastadon in London...i had never listened to their stuff before hand, but live they killed it. I have one of the albums and there are a few songs i like...but i have to say, live they are a really great band and they have a great energy about their show.

I think Whores, from seeing a few vids, will be a great complement...and the crowd i would say would be spent by the end because both you guys will rock the shit out anywhere you go! just wished you were doing international tour down in Oz.

I had a Dream 180 in the bridge of an Eastwood Stormbird maybe like 7-8 years ago. I honestly do not remember a heck of a lot about it, which isn't a great sign. However, I do not recall it having any issues with hum though. It was replacement for a Gibson Burstbucker 3, which I definitely remember sounding much better (which is why I poached that one for a diff't guitar in the first place). YMMV.

Sorry, that's not exactly helpful. But at least with GFS, it's always a low commitment gamble.

I must have dreamed up the Mean 180. Maybe if enough of us email GFS they will make a batch.

Not noticeable can be a good base to build on. It all depends. But I like there to be some character coming through from the guitar. At least it's only $30 to try it.
