Damn Christian, I know that's been in the works for a long time. Fucking killer that it's happening.
Also A Khemmis/Druden show?!!! Must go! Need an opening act? we've been talking more and more about getting down to portland, to the extent that I am now on the hunt for a retired short bus, so we can fit all our shit and bring the band to. We've borrowed one and it was fucking tittes, some comfort mods and it'd be the perfect tour van. Might have a lead on one equipped with a lift even.

Red Fang ain't my bag either, but I'm stoked for Christian nonetheless. If you do an Atl show I wanna open. Also, Parker and Ben need to bring that shit through Ga too.

Also, I just blacked out my Tele. I still need knobs for it though. These look like they came off an old stove. They are the only knobs I have laying around that fit the shafts. I wasn't sure I'd like the Wilkinson ashtray bridge but I really dig it. Its really comfortable and I can hook my pinky underneath it to get a good anchor. I fucked around with the intonation and I got it pretty close but it isn't dead on. Any tips on the 3 saddle bridges?

HOLY SHIT THAT TURNED OUT NICE!!!!!
As far as intonation, looks like you have compensated saddles, use the outer compensated saddles and use a straight / barrel / uncompensated saddle in the middle. See below:

Also make sure the saddles are height adjusted so that the curve of the strings matches the radius of the fretboard, just eyeballing it usually works for me, but the strings should not all be at the same exact height. That little bit of height difference can fix tiny intonation issues.

Really nice dude. All black Tele's look awesome. Doomecaster

The problem with the three saddle bridges is you can only seem to get one string of each saddle intonated. I think the saddles you have look like they are compensated. That's good, with a litte bit of draw filing on the saddle that is out you can get it spot on. Are the strings that are out slightly sharp or slightly flat?

If adjusted correctly with compensated saddles and my above approach with the straight middle saddle, you can get dead on intonation on all strings. I've done it to 5 or some tele bridged guitars and it worked everytime, its by no means an easy feat, but it can be done.

Yeah tell me about it. It's a game of patience. I've got mine pretty much spot on with a middle saddle compensated. But it has been a work in progress. I don't really need it perfect though, a little bit of dissonance on this guitar is ok with me. It's my noise guitar. It is slightly out of tune, I've melted the wax off pickups for more feedback and built in stutter button.

It really really is.... Ah shit sounds like a nasty screamer bitch!!! The kind you randomly pickup at a bar but by the morning time all your neighbors know it!!! I like those kind.

Yeah, they are compensated. Oddly enough the middle two are the ones that are dead on and the other two saddles are just a tad off with both sharp. I thought it would be the other way around. I've got the saddle height to match the curve of the fretboard. I think I can dial it in if I just fuck with it a little bit more. I got it close and then just started playing because I got a riff idea in my head.
Mr Grumpy looks fucking great. Can't wait for clips.
