Boss GT-001 arrived yesterday!
i seriously cannot recommend it enough, i spent a couple of hours last night building a clean and dirty channel setup from scratch because the factory presets are laughably bad, they go way over the top with compression/gating/modulation on them but if you spend time tweaking stuff properly it actually won't sound like a Johnny DeMarco demo. Took it to a jam tonight and just went guitar > GT-001 > solid state amp, and it was potentially my favourite tone i'd ever gotten from anything, the amount of fine control is insane and if you embrace the inevitability of it not sounding like a traditional guitar rig it's just stupidly cool and refreshing. Plus it weighs like less than a boss pedal and fits in my guitar case, and i got it set up tracking monophonic guitar to MIDI in ableton with zero latency in like 10 seconds. So good.

furtkamp is gonna turn this place into ILOVEPROCESSOR.
