Sounds perfectly reasonable. Which bass did ya get?
Some sort of Cort p/j bass. It was one of two left-handed basses in the shop, and the only one with a p-bass pickup so that made it a pretty easy choice. Will get some SD Quarterpounders in there eventually. The bass is of course left-handed black.
Should be fun! But God do I suck at bass...
Awesome! More bass converts in ILF. If you want a great easy to install P/J pickup set that are very well priced, look into the EMG Geezer Butler passive set. They sound awesome and you can install them yourself in about 15-20 minutes without a soldering iron.
Don't forget to try it through the NOLK and let me know how it sounds with bass.

It's not exactly a looker. Beginners level bass, most definitely.
Also kaos, don't worry, I'm not going over to the dark side. While I now own a bass, and will make music with it, I don't want to insult bassists by saying that I play bass. But I gotta have something to record all these ideas I have with. Love writing for my band but I have a whole slew of riffs that don't fit that band that I want to do something with.
Will post pics eventually.

It's not really the dark side, it's just another side. I see it as just another tool to get creative with. I collect musical instruments and I will try play them all. Guitar will always be the instrument I will pickup when I'm feeling in a creative mood but if I'm going nowhere then I will reach out for my bass. Lately I've been playing the bass 90% of my time. When the warmer weather comes back around I'll probably be hitting my drums more. My old joints and bones just can't handle the drums in winter.

Have one of these Eastwood Warren Ellis Tenors en route. Dying to run it through some fuzz! Have a Prunes & Custard clone to build which should be a fun combination. Was messaging a seller on EvilBay about a cream 2-pickup one with case that was for sale dirt cheap. Unfortunately it sold before I heard back from the seller so I missed that. Messaged the seller saying to contact me if the sale fell through and he told me he had this one to sell too for a bit cheaper. Not QUITE the bargain of the other one, but close enough to keep me well happy!

You are breaking the ILF seal on Paradox, eh? Glad you picked one up! Curious to see how they actually are in the wild...
I wish there was a Trogotronic 669cv for you to demo out there in Norway. I think you might get a kick out of it.
