It was in stock/ready to ship, which made it clear that I should get one. :excellent:

Yeah I love my G. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on the T. A demo would be awesome too :thumb:

Got the first pedal I ever bought back, thanks Mom! An Ibanez SM9, I remember being very upset with this pedal, I was 12 when I bought it and thought I'd for sure be able to cop those Slayer tonez. That didn't work out, as this ped wasn't very "super metal". Looking forward to plugging it in actually, maybe after 20 years I might just like it.

Also got my loaded peavey predator pickguard back with emg single coils. Too bad I destroyed the rest of the guitar.

One of those is hanging out on the local List of Craig... Curious how 20-years-later you likes it... :thumb:

Well I won't get to try it for a few days unfortunately. What I do know is that its basically 2 tubescreamers stacked with 3 pairs of clipping diodes and a 3 band active eq.

If its sub $100 I'd take a stab at it, they are pretty rare it seems and would be an easy sale if you didn't get along with it.

I remember buying it cheap because I couldn't afford a DS-1 at the time, boy things have changed.

A good example of the SM9 is Nirvana's "You know you're right" Kurt was probably stoned and forgot his pedals so used his techs pedals for that session. I also remember being able to coax some Metallica - Ride the Lightning tonez out of this box.

GODDAMMIT

I was just about to post how I got a baritone neck off eBay and how stoked I was to start building a baritone jazzmaster but someone sniped it at the last minute.
