tis, I've got someone coming look at the Model Train collection I inherited from my dad this weekend. If all goes well and he wants it I might have the funds to get it.
If it doesn't sell before he buys them....
I read this as "Model T collection I inherited from my dad".

Gotta be careful about that. Someone thinks you've got a stockpile of Model T's and you might have a Heat style heist on your hands.

hahaha the only way I could inherit a collection of Model T's is if my last name was Anderson or O'Malley. But to anyone thinking of a heist, just remember I live in Virginia, we have really good home defense laws (if 51% of your body is inside my house unwelcomed with the intent to harm I'm fully legally authorized to end your life). And since my buddies Remington and Glock are always near by, I wish you the best of luck. May the best man live.

Even so, if you're head out the front door and see Val Kilmer with a machine gun, get behind something thick.

Is the reason my VTM120 hasn't sold after almost a month that I don't have it listed for $500? I keep getting a lot of "can't believe what a great price!!" emails/messages and no one buying. Maybe people think it's a trick and I'm trying to lure them into a van.

They probably think they will end up in a big hole in your basement and have you standing above them telling them to rub the lotion on its skin, or they will get the hose again.

Yeah, but the amp will still be down there with them. We could probably negotiate for a cab down there too, if they would just put on that fuckin lotion already.

Nobody is buying anything right now, even at great prices.

Yeah, I pulled pretty much all my ads and decided to hold onto everything except the VTM and I'm considering just keeping that now too. I never try to make a big markup on selling gear, always try to be reasonable and competitive, but at a certain point I'd rather be broke than sell good gear for nothing.

Amen brother. Well if my train sale goes well this weekend I might try and convince you to ship that VTM.

I never even bothered to figure out what the shipping cost on that monster would be. It might as well be filled with lead bricks.
