Amazing that we can all come together to find so many resources so that a single person can further his or her addiction to peds.
The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

hbombgraphics wrote:oh sorry dude,
yeah I get why you use the power the way you do,
have you thought about just mounting a few pedals on top of the power strip?
Well, yea I could just velcro a strip of pedals to the top of the power strip, but that metal stand that the EHX Bi-Filter is sitting on right now, could be turned around 180 degrees and a small SOLO18 (18"x8.5") temple audio board attached to it to create an upper level above the power strip. Wouldn't be sturdy enough for me to stomp the boxes, but it would hide the power strip perfectly, and allow another 5 pedals up there that all use the slick modular temple audio attachment. I could probably do some black painted wood blocking under it and get it strong enough for pedal stomping...
I dunno...I guess the temple audio board wasn't as amazing as I had hoped...the lack of velcro sucked me in. Probably a great solution for those who stick to 9V DC pedals religiously, cuz a little Isobrick underneath would be very slick for that.
I will either engineer a beautiful solution, leave the power strip on top like it is, or get a whole new board system. But...step one is to get it all cabled, wired, and fired up. Baby steps...hehe
All the pedals...the jolly, candy-like pedals...

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Long time stalker, first time poster here:
Let me take you on a small tour of my home setup.

EQ(settings in picture are not representative
) - Super Fuzz(This thing is a beast!) - Red Snapper - PS-5 - Volume(tuner in tuner output) - looper - bluesky - chorus - el capistan
The single knob is a expression knob controlling time on the el capistan.
This is the funnest board I´ve ever had.

Ive been wanting to move away from computers for awhile, but I really like to compose by looping. but a looper pedal by itself really limits the workflow.
The pedalboard goes right into the mixer, I really like the "straight into the board" sound at home. the mixer is then connected to the BIG fourtrack(used for recording).
The looper on my pedalboard is connected to a footswitch that is connected to the sync of the Korg Volca Bass. This means I can send short bursts of tap tempo data to the looper based on BPM. Im also using some of the Teenage Engineering POs (drum and synth ones) for composing. they can also sync up with the volca bass/kaoss pad. fun fun.
This means I can loop things and sample them directly on the SP-404, and build songs layer by layer, before running the into the BIG fourtrack.
the other pedal on the footswitch is connected to the small fourtrack, this has a tape loop in it, and by connecting a footswitch it functions as an instant fun drone looper with four tracks. the small fourtrack is in the fx-loop of the mixer followed by the kaosss pad for FX both for tape loops and mixer inputs.
FUN FUN!

Glad that this comment was made. We are definitely a huge group of enablers here at ILF.
Welcome to the forum, HighDeaf. That pedalboard/rack combo is fucking gnarly.
and welcome to thesmellofrain for a sweet pedalboard and tabletop setup.

Man! Moogerfoogers look even better when they're next to other Moogerfoogers!
How do you use the Cluster Flux? I've never bothered checking it out because I also hate modulation/chorus/flange.

Please talk about it. It's my white whale. No interest in chorus/flange either, but it is one sexy ped.
