I've been on the fence about buying a 5150 head, just not sure if this inexpensive one is partially broken or if the current owner doesn't know how high gain amps work.

How it sounds and is built takes precedent at the end of the day. This one sounds great so...
and it honestly looks kinda ominous when on, cause red/green light shines through the cutouts, depending on settings and how you play. My curiosity will have me opening it up by days end I'm sure.

I know someone who backed out of buying a cheaper 5150 recently for what I fear is the same thing going on with your guy. Just no experience. Could work out to your favor however.

Got this a week or two ago but never bothered to take a picture. Chicago Music Exchange leather strap, really REALLY comfortable with my EGC's and takes the weight a little better than seatbelt style

Be interested to hear what you think of it--I'm not sure about it--I feel like the extra bass in the circuit makes it respond more like other fuzz pedals do--which is not a negative per se, but the OG Fingerprint acheives its gazy goal partly by limiting bass in the circuit if I understand it correctly (and even if I don't, I love da OG circuit so much I'm not ready to move on).
That said, I very happily own/will own other Penny pedals--great stuff!
Also, Doom Bloom. Shut my mouth 'bout putting extra bass in the OG circuit.
