I've been on the fence about buying a 5150 head, just not sure if this inexpensive one is partially broken or if the current owner doesn't know how high gain amps work.

Yea, I cant really be bothered by that shit  How it sounds and is built takes precedent at the end of the day. This one sounds great so... :idk: and it honestly looks kinda ominous when on, cause red/green light shines through the cutouts, depending on settings and how you play. My curiosity will have me opening it up by days end I'm sure.

I know someone who backed out of buying a cheaper 5150 recently for what I fear is the same thing going on with your guy. Just no experience. Could work out to your favor however.

Got this a week or two ago but never bothered to take a picture. Chicago Music Exchange leather strap, really REALLY comfortable with my EGC's and takes the weight a little better than seatbelt style

Be interested to hear what you think of it--I'm not sure about it--I feel like the extra bass in the circuit makes it respond more like other fuzz pedals do--which is not a negative per se, but the OG Fingerprint acheives its gazy goal partly by limiting bass in the circuit if I understand it correctly (and even if I don't, I love da OG circuit so much I'm not ready to move on).

That said, I very happily own/will own other Penny pedals--great stuff! :thumb:  :yay:

Also, Doom Bloom. Shut my mouth 'bout putting extra bass in the OG circuit. :p :)*
