When I got try one out in person it didn't really sound like it did in demos ive seen. It's pretty damn lush. I wonder if it just doesnt sound that good going direct into something?

Hmm, maybe it is my computer monitors. I'll try listening with headphones.

There is no sizzle.

It's a very dark and rolled off sound in person, no sizzle.

Finally finally finally ordered an Echo Degrader.
Isn't Andrew just a real lovely guy?
My hnnnggg is very strong for this one. Counting down the seconds before losing myself to the crackle swamp already!

Relatedly: I love the way EAR's tabletop gristleizer looks. I can't stand the pedals (it might just be the knobs tbh).
