if you are thinking atthegatecore then yes. but there is tons of metalcore that destroys this one you linked.

Like I said, the recorded output doesn't measure up. But from At the Gates to Zao all letters of the metalcore alphabet suck. IMO, YMMV, etc.

I hate it when people say it but really you haven't heard the good cause the good wasn't popular.

even live, I wouldn't like your Cortez

I never got into metalcore probably cause all I ever heard was the popular hot topic bullshit. I probably wouldn't be into black metal either if I listened to what was suggested there.

Tony was there too! NW Doombro Summit! That was my first time seeing Ex Gods and they killed. I'm really glad I finally hitched a ride down to T-Town because that was fun as hell :animal:

Status update: Here's some advice that probably no one here needs but apparently I needed it. My rig was sounding dull the last time I played it, had a crappy crackle on the edge between clean and crunch and wasn't getting as much drive from boost pedals as normal. This was gradually getting worse during my jam. I put up with it for a while, turned up the treble knobs and gain, until I finally wiggled some cables and found out that one was half shorted out. Friggin' cables.

I mean, could that be done? A cab with a pie chest?
Cuz I'm pro-THAT.
It could even be hidden, so it doesn't look like there's a pie chest, cuz that apparently sucks.
Like At The Gates?
But I love Slaughter of the Soul.
I rocked the hell out of that when it came out.
Today I found out I'm proto-metalcore.
:(

hahaha I'm not really a huge fan of AtG. I like their early albums. as in With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness and The Red in the Sky is Ours... past that... not so much. thought slaughter of the soul and terminal blah blah were meh and let downs.

wife thought all of it was terrible fucking shit when it came out.

I don't think so. Maybe I'm a sleep-auditor.
