The thing that I don't think a lot of Doom Roomers/ILF-ers understand is how much traffic this site has the potential to generate as far as fresh content is concerned (and google loves fresh content from lots of users, even if the traffic draw is relatively marginal to somewhere like TGP). If you search "Midnight Amplification Holy Mountain" ILF is the second link below the main site.

Now that I didn't know.
Wow.
I suppose we do kook it up more at ILF for gear than anywhere else.

I have been pondering this a lot myself lately.
Clearly they've just not found the right beer for them.
I can understand not drinking to get drunk. I don't even do that myself these days.
But there are way too many options available to pansy out and say you don't like it.

Not drinking at all by choice (or not) is another story.

Looking forward to those demos! :joy: :omg: :!!!: :doom: :!!!: :omg: :joy:

I can only speak for myself but I prefer to inhale my libations.

I will though, on rare occasion, imbibe in a good Virginia cider or two.

Oh I've had quite a ton of different beers. all types of shit that my beer snob buddies have had me try. If i'm forced to buy something I'd get red stripe but overall pthhhhh it's to get drunk or nothing at all.

I don't like getting drunk often. It's probably at the most... 6 times a year... if even that.

That's still more than me.
By a long margin.

I really like beer for flavour etc.

Got a half a carton of Hoegaarden left that is helping in making my life not shit at the moment.

i like the crisper beers/largers...i cant do the heavy stuff, or ales...my favourite at the moment is Camden Hells Larger and Blue Moon.

but now that im back in Oz...i gotta find some new local stuff. My favourite aussie beer has always been carlton draught...which is quite normal, but its damn good!

Blue Moon is quite good (in keeping with Hoegaarden clones).

Get onto James Squire's Hop Thief, Sam.
I normally don't like their stuff, but it is particularly impressive.
That says a lot because I fucking hate pale ales, usually.

I don't drink to get drunk too much anymore, mornings are already hard enough as it is. I drink to enjoy beer, so I always try something new when I go on beer runs.

I am right there with you dudes about not drinking like I used to. Now, to be fair, I'm a teacher so "not a lot" might be different for me than for some of ya. But hangovers are deadly when you're teaching 7 classes, going to grad school, and playing rock n roll on a regular basis. Can't lose a morning/whole day anymore.

This is me as well.
Its all about the hunt!

Yeah empty, that sounds like a hangover would be the last thing in the world you'd want/need.

I definitely find I'm too busy to get legitimately wasted or tripped out more than once a week (including hangover/comedown), and that time always seems to come at the expense of something creative I'd like to be doing.

I love me some craft brews, and being in Michigan, there's plenty here to keep me happy. Just discovered Bean Flicker from Odd Side Ales, which is a coffee blonde ale. It's a trip to get that dark coffee flavor in a blonde! But honestly, for me there's nothing better than a glass of Guinness after a days work.

That sounds really rad.
There's a cafe in my town called Flick n' Beans.
They do make a good coffee.

I cannot,
I will not,
Iommi-am

Ingest any pale ale

I cannot,
I will not
Iommi-am

their flavor is a fail

My taste buds run in fear,
my joy glands shed a tear,
for their flavor I do not savor,
oh great Iommi-am
