That Cosmichorus is so beautiful :!!!:

I made some shelf boards for home use with some pedals that are not on my gigging board:

Haven't spent too much time with the second board yet. But unlocked some great sounds with that first one! PS-3, Frequency Analyzer, SC10, Misty Cave and GB24 definitely yield enough combinations to bring the weird!

Still the best feature is this:

Try Blokus, if you can arrange a pedalboard you can play blokus

Had to google that to find out that I did play that at one time. Solid logic because indeed, I was pretty good at it

for the non-french : you always have a nice board !

I have a Black Secret and it's a very good distortion. The best RAT I have ever played (I had 2 ProCo RAT2, one modded, the other wasn't). I had like 10 different Mooer, never had a problem, they're well build.

Thank you buddy!

About the Black Secret I agree with you: this is one of the best distortion I've heard so far. I had the Shimverb from Mooer but didn't like it, the shimmer pitch was not very useable. I've the Lofi Machine too and it is very cool to create textures. The Black Secret has very great quality/price value

Did a bit of pedal re-organizing today, mostly focusing at the dirt tones I want for the current band I'm playing in. I also felt the need to really make some proper cable spaghetti.

Image

Board starts with the Polytune feeding into the White Loop. The White Loop switches between two effect loops:

Clean loop
  • DOD Phasor 201 - set to a slow phase.
  • Digitech Obscura - set to tape mode with a pretty long decay and a lot of pitch warping.

Dirt loop
  • Earthquaker Arrows - 12 o' clock, doesn't boost a TON but cleans up neck pickups a lot.
  • Custom Dwarfcraft Eau Claire Thunder - Set to a really thick, meaty fuzz with tons of low end. Becomes super aggressive when Arrows is enabled.
  • Earthquaker Acapulco Gold - Big 'ol chunky distortion. Brightens up nicely with Arrows for when something needs to pop.
  • BAT Quantum Mystic - Slight bass/mid boost and heavy distortion. Great on its own or stacked with one of the other dirts. Arrows doesn't do a ton with it though.

this is cool,
are the loops an either or type thing or can you run them into each other?

For the band in rehearsal, some kind of stoner rock I guess? Influenced by Red Fang, QOTSA, Spidergawd and then some. I also have a solo project: https://soundcloud.com/oarfish-band/sets/demo

It switches between the two loops, so the options are: Bypass / A / B. I primarily bought it to quickly go from the phaser/delay sound to thick distortion quickly in a bunch of songs, like in this one: https://soundcloud.com/oarfish-band/heracleion

As you can probably tell, I also used to have an overdrive before the phaser for some crunch in the clean loop. I recently retired it to make the sound more distinct. It might make its way back to the board eventually though.
