25.5, the necks are kinda like jazzmaster necks but wider and flatter, so it's not really a jag in much way other the the plates but 25.5 works better for me.

Awesome. After getting back into guitar I realized the jag wasn't going to cut it for me anymore. It seems silly that 1.5" inches makes that much of a difference, but the Welson and Silvertone are such easier guitars to play. Awesome find though, I had never seen Schecters like that (and I agree with the gaudy talk from the other thread). The jag is a good place to take looks from though.

weirdly my favourite scale length is 25" (PRS style) which is what i ordered on my harvester but for an ERG i think anything less than than 25.5 would feel weird. i've had mustangs and stuff in the past and it just feels like my hand isn't moving around enough with that scale. i keep my peavey T15 around for fun though cos that thing has a comically tiny neck but is one of the loudest most low-end heavy guitars i've played.
schecter japan is completely separate from their bigger south korean shop as far as i'm aware so the line is different altogether, they still do a lot of flametops and pearloid pickguards and stuff but overall its a bit less gaudy, haha.

Speaking of different scale sizes, I recently bought the guitar in this video (airline tuxedo) based simply on the fact that the playing and fuzz sound in the second half of this video kicked so much ass. Plus I kind of wanted a hollow body. I did not realize that it was a small scale guitar, since seemingly the dude in the video is some kind of elf. This guitar is so much fun to play, despite costing me less then $600. Bonded with it almost immediately, and it is so comfortable and feeds back in such musical way that it has become a big part of my sound. Love it.

Yea, coffee and riffs lately has been super GAS inducing for guitars.

Hit me up if you want it back! It's not in my current rotation.

We'll see. Thinking back, I sold it because I ended up not using it much. I'll have to play around with the Bitquest when it arrives, to find out if ring mod is really my thing, or if I just want it to be.

Anyway, just bought Abanoises AD4096. Been wanting one forever, and since I ended up not getting the Moog MF-102 or the Copicat, I thought I'd at least get a pedal that'll get loads of use. :!!!:

That 7-string jag looks so amazing. The black pup covers, the upper plate, matching headstock, everything.

It's pretty fun, but after an hour or two of playing I'm having a hell of a time figuring out some usable settings. Time to watch the UG and Eivind demos over and over to steal ideas!
