^ of the ring mods i've tried the quietest by far was the Bitquest, which is also pretty damn versatile as far as ring mods go, albeit totally digital.
the MF-102 is really nice though, i hope you can get it fixed without too much hassle.

yeah I've been lusting after one for a while now but i've not heard whether they're gonna make any more. hopefully their cheaper knick-knacks can soothe the pain a little...

Just in: The Gibson copy on the left. Old rip off with Gibson logo and "Les Paul" decal. I bought it cheap for a doom project as I needed something to modify and mess up. Turns out that besides some odd finishing details it's a fairly high quality instrument and that someone put good humbuckers in it. Even got nitro paint, so now all my guitars have that grimey nicotine white color.

Either way, that's a great finish.

Sold my pedalboard with the intent to buy a smaller one and smaller power supply then just said screw it and bought a bunch of other things.
Coming: 3 knob driving notion, a thick leather strap to wear since my back has been killing me with my EGC's, a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder for Jazzmaster that I found dumb cheap on Reverb, and the first Jodis album which I put off buying for several years do some reason

Ah, good one-I was watching that Quarter Pounder-I love them, especially with a bass roll off knob for variety....
