Is that a legit, licensed Mu Tron for the South American market, or a blatant ripoff?

Yeah, I believe it was licensed. Made in Argentina. That company, Audio-Phonic, made a bunch of earlier pedals too. Not sure if those were licensed or not.

Either way, must be pretty interesting down there.
