got a STEP in yesterday

this thing RIPS!!!!!! I'm fucking loving how it sounds, the kind that makes me want to riff endlessly

it'd be perfect if there was some lows in there. anybuddy know if it's based on anything? should have tried this way sooner. cheap as hell, too! it's also stupidly loud. just the way I like it
The lows were an issue for me too. It would be awesome with a blend, especially for the octave settings.
It's got such a good texture. So brash and gnarly.
Just wish it had a bit more bass.

I love you, UG. What does the CV do when in non-oscillating mode?

I'm not sure yet, maybe it controls the amount of fuzz? I'll report back or just make a demo if I can get motivated.

Motivated? You've got LAL in house man. haha! Can't wait for mine to show up...I almost went for a second rattle crow but I talked myself out of it (I love that pedal). The LAL Rising Sun pedals are so classy looking to me. I wish I had all five in a line.
Dang, really excited to hear it...Had a blast with my tone axe and 88 into the dba reverb this morning. Going to get to try a memory man for the first time soon. Should be neat.

that's funny I was thinking about to buy that rattle crow too because it was in better shape than the one I have but...mine works fine. I'm taking my nieces/nephew swimming today so I won't get a chance to play with the 86 till later today...when I also expect the old one to arrive in the mail. Its a doomy big muff.

The kids love making noise with my gear so maybe I'll record them playing

Could this really be THE bass OD that I've always wished for?!?

That depends... what type of tone are you looking for?
It's got a lottaaaa sounds in this box from mild to raging fuzzstortion.
I was always on the search for slightly overdriven sounds for bass. Mild and tube-like. The ODB-3 is what I don't like at all. I have a few fuzzes and distortions that sound great with bass, but I always wanted something that's more subtle.

I do love how the Timebender has quietly hit FOTM levels of lust over here.

Ha! The one I got from monkeydancer just arrived today, but I was still watching that auction because it was so crazy cheap.
Very glad I held back from bidding bc it went to you cheaper. Plus buying a second as a backup before you'vre really broken in the first is infinitypalm...and just total displacement behavior since I'm trying to stop the whoreding.
