You might be right. I played it in the middle of the night, so I had to keep the volume down and my AC30 gets kind of murky and wooly at low volumes. I will have to investigate.

i haven't tried it in stereo yet which is where the money is supposed to be at, but even in mono it's great, there's a pretty magical balance between wobbly chorus sounds and frozen detuned sounds that i've never quite been able to dial in on anything else. the hype is warranted I think so far, i have tried a shit-ton of chorus/flanger/detune pedals as it's kind of an obsession and this is potentially my favourite in the more subtle/always-on regard.

the v4 isn't really new, but it just came back from the docs with a completely new set of tubes and caps
might as well be! I scooped up the 2x15 before hand from a buddy, which was apparently built by another buddy of ours in oryx! cool shit, imo. it's loaded with jensen c15ks. I was on the fence about it initially, but after hearing about the meatbox reissue I was sold.today is a beautiful day

How much does that 215 weigh? Seeing that makes me want to look into rebuilding my 215 again because I hate that it is 90lbs.
