Most vinyl comes with a digital download, doesn't it?

yeah if I buy online i would suppose so...but if i got to a shop (like utopia) i would have to get the digital download somehow too. unless the world has moved on to be much more efficient than i remember...which is highly plausible.

I'm pretty sure the label chucks the unique download code in the sleeve these days.
Mind you I don't step foot into local record store because the expense is ridiculous and they never have anything I want anyway.
Sydney is a bit better, though.
I'm sure Melbs is fine.
Bris. sucks.
What else is new?

They definitely do that for most of the albums I buy. Even smaller bands tend to make their own. Bandcamp/dropcards both have a generator

I want to say the last few records I've bought didn't include downloads except for Les Revenants.

She has a band you can look up. I don't remember what they're called, but they're not objectionably bad.
Also I have the tattered remnants of that same Metallica shirt Turner is wearing in the screengrab. What a fucking swaggerjacker.

It totally should, but I know a few labels that don't do it. These labels are fucking idiots. We always put dropcards in all of our records when someone orders directly from us.

Yeah it does seem kind of weird. I know Important doesn't do it for what I presume are ideological reasons (and I love them to death so I refuse to believe they're idiots), but c'mon, how often am I going to be near a record player when I get the fix for early tape loop compositions? That's not convenient for me, the consumer, at all!
I think it makes a lot more sense for bands/artists that aren't strictly headphone acts. Like, I don't just listen to Whores when I'm sitting alone in my room with the lights off staring at a wall. Sometimes I listen to it with the lights on, too.

Sigged. Something about that statement was way more entertaining than it should have been
