This isn't my all day, every day board. I like to change it up a lot. I was just doing some recording with this, and thought it looked nice. Didn't give the best results, but whatever. It's been a while since I posted a picture. Chain starts in the upper right and is:

Homemade contact mic (that grey cable on top of the pedals) > Zoom MS-100BT > LAL Thunder Box > EHX Linear Power Booster > DOD Meatbox reissue > Keeley Absolute Wurst > Alexander Pedals Princess Clang > DOD Thrash Master (someone spray painted it black, they couldn't handle the hot pink) > Rogue Super Metal (it was cheap when bought with some other pedals, I like it) > Fuzz Goddess Atomizer > Digitech Death Metal > Devi Ever Circuit Breaker > DOD Death Metal (FX86B) > Fuzzhugger Doom Bloom > DOD Death Metal (FX86).

that looks like absolute punishment.

Is that good or bad? I'm taking it as a good thing. The three Death Metals sound intense when all on at once, good fun.

Does your wife not find low end loss with the Spring Chicken? I definitely did, the main reason I got rid of it.

works well for the way she plays, kinda hooky

The pink demon has been my #1 fuzz for many years. Never once has its majesty been challenged, and oh, how I've searched for a worthy contender! I've owned several varieties of them (including two double germs at different times), and kept the two early silicon versions seen here. The only thing I like almost as much is the Black Cat Bass Octave Fuzz..................and sometimes the Depth Charge for entirely different reasons.

Now this is my kind of board!

Rearranged some shit when I realised that Tuners can go on the floor with a battery instead of taking up valuable board space. Left me with a healthy gap on my board. SO I went and picked up something cheap:
The Boss LM-2, ladies and Gentlemen, is the most criminally under rated Boss pedal of all time (Big call, I know, but seriously man). I set it for aggressive squish and it does it with like no fuckery with my sound. Gorgeous. With the Threshold at 9am I have just the tinniest little bit of dynamic "sag" if you will. Makes everything so clear and consistent. Stoked.

I say the same all the last years! I use it for limiting the hot signal peaks only and not in a drastic way as you do. I prefer the LM-2 over every compressor pedal out there! When I received my first LM-2 it was a "Baby, where've you been my whole life?!" moment of heavenly revelation. It helps me keep my recordings tidy. And it's such a silent unit. It belongs to my always-on pedals.

I get the same feeling about my Keeley Bassist. It's an amazing limiter.
