Don't forget you can get a y cable and use the expression jack as an effects loop for the repeats.

There's a dip switch inside that goes from expression control to fx loop, iirc. I never personally got around to using it, but it definitely opens up the possibilities.
Bit crushed repeats? Ring mod repeats? Pitch shifted warbly repeats?
...dammit. Now I want another Maude real bad.

Well, after a 3 month wait I'll finally be having these shipped to me next week:
Echo Degrader w/ Feedback Loop

Can't wait to fuck with that Feedback loop.

Anyone have a good one for bass they'd recommend?
I really like the Walrus audio Deep Six, especially with he black/teal angler fish graphic.

If you want something that can color your tone a bit, then there's the EQD Warden. the only problem with the warden is the lack of blend, but if you know how to set a compressor it's not too much of a problem.

Also, from the demos I've seen (and if you want to be excessive), the new keeley one is super overkill, which is very ILF.

I honestly don't understand 90% of what's on the website. Like it breaks my brain even looking at it. LOL.

I have some basic knowledge of compressors. Do you want tasteful leveling of peaks, or do you want that super squashed "effect" compressor?

I love my accountant, also used it on bass to everyone's happiness.
At my friend's studio they always use the Frantone Sputnik, seems like those are going to be around again soon.
The Accountant is to me the perfect balance of many options and maneuverabilty even for idiots that can't spell the word.
The Sputnik just sounds great in a mix, I'm not sure if it bumps up the mids or what, but it just sounded really good in the big picture while it seemed to do nothing if you heard it on it's own.

Hahaha, I love that thing. My amp doesn't sometimes. Couldn't think of a better name for that thing though.

If you want one that colors your tone a bit (in a good way), and only does light compression (1:3 fixed), I love the Diamond BCP-1. Sounds great and is dead simple to use. Center positive power so make sure you don't fuck that up. And run it at 18v, it can run at 9 but sounds better at 18.
As you know G&L pickups are fucking crazy hot, and it handles them, in fact it sounds great, but I have to keep the Compression knob dialed down pretty low.
And I might be selling mine, lol. But won't probably know for a week or two so don't count on it.
