Love the board. I need a loopi thing. Will be googling once I'm off work. I always have at least one pedal I want in two spots in the chain, made extra complicated by delay effect loops. This might be a gamechanger.

this is interesting to me...im looking to upgrade my looper from a Ditto to one of these Pigtronix ones or the Boomerang.

whats your thoughts on the Pigtronix? do you find it fiddly with the arm/disarm thing?

from yoututbe the boomerange seems easier to use...but real life experience would be good to know.

i need a simple looper that i can hold multiple loops (not layers, just separate ones) and bring them back and forth with a long fade function (or hook up to volume pedal to swell in and out)

To be honest, I'm a total novice when it comes to looping, although am planning to rectify that. The thing that really sold me on the Infinity was its ability to midi sync with the Beat Buddy and the good feedback of plenty of people online about that. I think there may be more other options out there with more on the memory front - the new ehx maybe. I haven't really got to grips with the pigtronix features yet but I think it has the features you need (they have a lot of demo vids on their site), but I'm excited to have it and the psychedelic collages it will create. :!!!:

I am finding arm/disarm a bit fiddly but I think that's just because I am retraining my brain (previously had a DItto X2) - with so many features there is a bit of a learning curve - between the looper, Particle and Mobius, I've tried to keep the rest simple!

Having said that, I got my pre-order in for a Count to 5 too, which will have to face off against the Particle for board space, and will interested to see how it overlaps or not with the Infinity too...

thanks man...thats helps a lot.

the syncing is not a big thing for me as the project i play in is a bit of noise group (with no rhythm section)...but like you say all the other weird shit it does seems pretty cool.

- sounds tremendous :animal:

Sexy neat!
- thanks :thumb: , though I'm pretty sure that this is considered messy on the gear page! It always seems like a good idea to cable tie all the wires into place ... right up until I want to change something that is

I made that mistake so i got velcro ones. I really need to re wire my board (especially after seeing that) but that means having to spend less time making noise.
