As someone that knows fuck all about adjusting my instruments beyond changing strings that's pretty rad.

Super bummer about Indian. That said... everything I've gathered from ILF/ILD folks is that Will is super talented and will likely take his Headrush into the future of more awesome and evil shit for us to enjoy.

And I have an overwhelming desire to buy a HeadRush that i don't need all of a sudden.
I've always heard the looper is awesome on them. On top of this apparently being a killer delay. You probably do need it. With all the synth stuff you've been getting into, it seems that cool delay/loopers would always be something you need. The price just makes me want to punch myself in the face.
Yeah. I went ahead and did it. Not exactly sure what my current music plans are gonna be but I'm sure I'll find something cool to do with it.
Step 1: Move to Portland or Denver
Step 2: start/join a project with Parker or move here and start something nasty heavy.
That really sucks. Ouch.
+10000 to what Empty said (Denver)

Indian's done, Spock's dead........fuuuuck.
I did just, finally, get offered a job- well, a yr long contract Of course it's about half what I used to make before my early retirement. Guess that's the price for a 2 year mid-life crisis. Ordered one a them Headrushes to celebrate.

That's a bummer about Indian

I only found them this year, but fuck you guys made some killer tunes.
In some good news I finally have a replacement for my Acura that got stolen. My GF family are going to sell me their 2000 Jeep Cherokee for really cheap. It's got some problems, but a few I can fix myself, the big one is the transmission is kinda wonky. That's going to be a serious job. But my stressing out about finding money for a semi-decent vehicle can stop. Plus I can actually haul all my cabs and my upright bass in this one.

Man, I'm really sorry to hear about Indian. I think Guiltless still to this day is one of the heaviest records I have ever heard. It was like hearing Axe To Fall or The Unreal Never Lived for the first time. All the best with things, Will. I hope you continue on to do some awesome shit. Live long and prosper.

Very nice. Fuzz Face derivatives are so good for the slow and heavy.

We all make mistakes.
I know. I've been jamming their shit non-stop since yesterday. I have no idea how never checked them out before now.
humancertainty wrote:Yeah. I'm pretty bummed about it but shit wasn't working out.
Kinda weird. The band was the only reason I moved to Chicago. Not sure what I'm gonna do now.
Sorry to hear about Indian. You dudes made some of the heaviest music I've ever heard. Pretty pumped to see what sort of project you end up in next.

Enjoy man, discovering a band like that for the first time is the shit. Acid King is just one of the bands I kinda think of as a cornerstone. So what If my building has 20 corners, They're all important. Wish I'd been around to see them earlier too, but they killed at hoverfest.
Yeah dude, especially in the post-internet world it's rare to feel like I've discovered something. It's going to be fun to dig into their albums and see if the first impression lasts...which I'm pretty sure it will.
Re corners: if someone truly likes music (or film, or books, or whatever) their building ought to have a shitload of corners.

Good shit, my dude. Looking forward to hearing the whole album. Is that a Bassman back there? You running any kind of dirt or is that a cranked and boosted Bassman?

Don't worry dude, Shatner is collecting the body as we speak. He is going to toss him onto the Genesis planet where he will regenerate and be reborn if they can keep him away from the pesky Klingons and get him out of there before the planet explodes.
