How's it on your end?
This weather is getting pretty interesting up here.
Glad you're doing ok dude. Yeah sounds like it. How far are you from the cyclone?
It's just hot here but I love the heat. The worst part about the heat is having to listen to the missus piss and moan about how hot it is, and she has 3 fans running at night. Do you have any idea how fucking noisy 3 fans running at night are? She wonders why I'm such a grouchy fucker in the morning.

dude...get your self a white noise machine! best invention ever.
we use it in the kids room and they it masks anyother sound. But its so loud that the sound comes to our room too, and since having it, i've slept really well, takes a few nights to get use to it, but once you do, you cant sleep without it.
My mother-in-law bought us one for the dog because we usually just play music for her (or Detroit Tigers baseball games in the spring/summer/fall). It has a bunch of different water sounds. We've taken it for our own personal bedroom (the dog is in a different room when we're at work). It's the most beautiful thing. It generally blocks out or masks all the snoring that my idiot dog and wife do when I'm trying to go to sleep. It's fantastic.

I worked night shift for 15 years. Got too much after a while. Cute dogs you got there. I had a pit bull X. They are great dogs. Not the vicious beasts people think they are. I just think too many morons own them and raise them to be morons like them.

all dogs are cool...its the owners that fuck'em up. especially this breed...its a real shame too.
I feel like shit about it, but i've been impacted by the stereotype and when i walk past them in the street i get a little tight compared to other dogs.
it also doesnt help that there are so many young hooded thug looking guys walking these dogs with thick chain leeches around london...just adds to the stereotype.

I'm going to be doing exactly what you said, sir. I'm certain that our paths will be crossing.
See both you wildcats there. Won't be able to hit TRVE first as I teach until 8 PM, but HOOAHS and Muscle Beach =

Denver stop on that tour, lol see how much I like the Hi-Dive when I'm there.
Super pumped about this as well. Denver has so many good shows coming up this spring it's unbelievable. Also, HiDive kicks ass. One of my favorite rooms I've ever played. Great sound, great staff.

that little brown pooch has 2 fused disc's and now has wobblers syndrome from spinal cord issues due to her previous "owners" wrapping chains around her neck to buff her up. technically she shouldn't live another 2 years.
hate is a very strong word, but I fucking HATE shitty dog owners. if I could adopt them all I would.
people who treat animals like shit deserve to be shot in the head infront of their families. boondock saints style

Ive been looking at aussie ebay for cabs...came across a funny one yesterday. A second hand "custom built" 2x12 cab for about $600. In the decscription it said something about constructed from the best material to bring out the speakers character and make the cab sound big...the wood he used??? High quality hard pressed MDF...

samzadgan wrote:wow man...just saw the stuff in QLD...is that hitting brisvegas or is purely the north?
It's actually the first time in ages it had been this far south. Its hitting the Capricorn coast as I type this and is a Cat 5. It will track directly towards Brisbane later but by the time it gets to us here it will have lost a bit of steam and will just be a tropical low. Which is still gonna cause some gnarly weather but won't be as brutal by a long shot.
I think it may be the first time a Cyclone has struck this low on the QLD coast in over 100 years.

My missus is the same. I've got her down to one fan these days.
She's mad for white noise, though. I've considered getting one of those machines, but she insists on having a fan. That rain noise sounds like tits though, odont. I love falling asleep to the sound of rain.
Not that its a problem today.

So much this.
whiskey_face wrote:people who treat animals like shit deserve to be shot in the head infront of their families. boondock saints style

And this. And BOONDOCK SAINTS! Fuck yeah!

Also, dudes who have owned those sunn 412L cabs: As a cab, how do they sound compared to say an Orange 412? Anyone done any speaker swap tests?
I went to check em out and the only video I could find that was of any interest was SLK's (funnily enough, you've done most of the better youtube demos of Sunn gear, dude

Cheers.)
Basically I may end up building a cab to those dimensions and just wanted to see if there was any extra toan mojoz to had.
