I didn't know any of this about the guy, but I found out myself when I was cruising a fb page about effects pedals and found some dude arguing how he had made the best klone with the unobtanium diodes and vintage parts, and I was loling until I realized it was the LWA guy... then I lol'd harder.
Anyway... been thinking about putting my SG back into standard tuning because C is just too slinky on that scale length for me... figure I'll have an Iommi guitar and keep the heavies to the longer scale lengths.

So I just ordered 100 HM2 kit pcbs. We are looking to do a single etched run with Chris using Matt's graphic. Keep this in mind if you are interested in getting either as I will put out an announcement to gather orders.

I have money now. Can i just pay you now so I don't have to save it?
Not kidding. Not even a little.

We are still figuring out the price of the etch enclosure + pcb or just the pcb ect. Little bit of logistics.

Awesome! been wanting a better HM2 ever since the lhw turned out to be such a disappointment.
One more note on LWA "Sales"
I know I said it before but I think people here should know that the "Sale" does not mean he has them in hand and needs to reduce inventory and will send it out right away. He calls it a "sale" but treats it as a pre order. So don't expect to get a pedal anytime in the near future.
IMO "Sale" means you actually possess what you are marking down.
"Pre order" means the builder will make them once the batch is filled and you can expect a pedal a few months down the road. which is fine, if that is known by the customer prior to purchase.

Agreed. Then if I really wanted it id wait and and if it was in any way not as described I'd give negative feedback. But if it was perfect I'd give neutral feedback but describe what happened. That's really shitty. A week with no communication. That's fuct.
Fuck shitty dealings with less then genuine people. (This also goes for the lone wolf guy.)
So I've been searching for a lower wattage(15 - 100) tube bass amp for bedroom/possibly practice.) Almost pulled the trigger on an ashdown 15w, but convinced myself it wasn't enough. Pretty sure I made the right choice there. Found this on Craigslist. It's a Marshall 9005 tube poweramp. 50/25 w switchable per side. No bridge. Running it mono with my Meatsmoke. Sounds great. Only played it at guitar center(we meet there) through the shittiest acoustic 15. Can't wait to try it through one of my cabs.

i really like those amps. great sounding power amp. i've only heard them with guitar, and in that scenario it's a killer 100 watt tube power amp. the accompanying preamp is actually pretty cool too. as is the marshall jmp1, although it's pricier than the 9000 preamp, maybe it's called the 9001 or something. one of the guitarists in asunder used to play that setup and it was awesome. good score. a small bass amp and if you get yourself a good guitar pre you've got a great guitar amp.

That's just part of it. I'm tired of that asshole spamming his shit everywhere and shitting on every other pedal and builder out there.
I'm not a member of that group, but I am imagining general douchebaggery. I've personally always been wary of him because his HM-2 clone is named Left Hand Path and I heard about it a while after Nick already had the idea...

It's funny -- for all the Matamp association, High on Fire has always been Soldano tones.
Yep. And wasn't that the Dopesmoker combo as well?

Sorry John, long story short, derogatory comments about other builders in a thread about their stuff (not yours) results in a ban from FCOAW.

Edit:apparently a very brief ban lol
