There is a story here, and I wanna know it.

I played doom riffs in an elementary school today, so that was pretty rad. One of the schools I work at has a pretty rad school counselor - he brought in his guitar shit to show the music class, so I brought my SG and board to show him after school. Got to play a mid 70's tele and early 70's doublecut Les Paul special though my board into his DSL 40w combo (which actually wasn't too bad). He tunes to open G, which was a slight bummer, but overall it was a solid fucking day. My SG is in drop C right now, and when dude hit an open chord with the Pharaoh cranked up I thought he was gonna shit a brick

HELL YES. To both things.

yeah you gotta clue us in.
I have had one transaction with the dude. I ordered one of his HM2 clones on "sale."
It hadn't been built yet. Took at least 6 months.
I'd send a message from time to time and would just get excuses.
The pedal finally did arrive. Very meh. Not even in the same league as the pedal that inspired me to look into that circuit.
If anyone wants it, hit me up with a trade offer or something.

cheers mate...no, its all stock GT1...i didnt feel like i need to make any changes to something thats already perfect.

I hear you. The other day I saw a guy on instagram who was selling a GT1 that had been special ordered to be super clean.

:picard:

I kinda wish I'd asked for them to take the low input off. Virtually useless. The only thing I customised was control over the depth knob. I don't think they charged me for it, but they sent me possibly the world's cheapest footswitch aha.
(switches between the knob setting and full left/doom).

Agreed. Then if I really wanted it id wait and and if it was in any way not as described I'd give negative feedback. But if it was perfect I'd give neutral feedback but describe what happened. That's really shitty. A week with no communication. That's fuct.

Fuck shitty dealings with less then genuine people. (This also goes for the lone wolf guy.)

So I've been searching for a lower wattage(15 - 100) tube bass amp for bedroom/possibly practice.) Almost pulled the trigger on an ashdown 15w, but convinced myself it wasn't enough. Pretty sure I made the right choice there. Found this on Craigslist. It's a Marshall 9005 tube poweramp. 50/25 w switchable per side. No bridge. Running it mono with my Meatsmoke. Sounds great. Only played it at guitar center(we meet there) through the shittiest acoustic 15. Can't wait to try it through one of my cabs.

That's just part of it. I'm tired of that asshole spamming his shit everywhere and shitting on every other pedal and builder out there.

I won a guitar on eBay last Friday early evening. Got a pretty decent price. Below market, but only just. Paypal'ed him the loot within 2–3 minutes of winning the auction.

Excitement and anticipation means I'm checking the eBay app for a tracking number about 3x per day. Nothing. I decided that yesterday I'd send a friendly message asking what he was planning timing-wise to ship, since I'd like to make arrangements to be home to sign for it. I've heard nothing back. The guy has 32 positive feedback transactions, nothing negative.

Nothing like this has happened to me before on eBay. Even the slowest of shippers will reply to a friendly message.

I'm trying not to be impatient, but I mean c'mon. It's a pretty decent amount of scratch for a mook like myself. What's my next move?

Auction link for reference:

wait the 7 days cause ebay won't let you file a claim till that time is up so it will give a 'fair amount of time' for the seller to ship. if he doesn't supply a tracking number on day 8 file a claim.

Also, fuck yes to Atlas cabs. Petras rules. I've played his cabs at a couple of shows/fests, and they are always stellar.

Can't say I hate it, but it certainly is beginning to sound formulaic, and not in a dynamic way. I mean, when almost every song you write sounds like a fucking massive EPIC, the appeal of the style starts to wane I think. The vocals sound MUCH different as well IMO.

Ape Blaster everywhere. I can't wait to see them live with Pamtron on second guitar. She fuckin riiiiiiips.

And man I've had buddies hating on LWA months before I'd ever heard of the guy. Now I see him around and he seems pretty lippy. But he did a great service posting that Hovercraft vid though.
