I've found a heat gun and a paint scraper are pretty awesome at getting glue off when removing tolex.
Fuck that job though.
I missed too much to catch up with a multi. I did want to say to Darren: as if anything could contend with an Ape Blaster. Pull your head out mate. She's a winner.

Apologies to Sam, I did PM you with a first dibs list on my surgery sale for being such a duder, unfortunately while I was editing it, I hit "Submit" instead of "Preview" and it went live before I wanted it to, so sorry mate. Apologies also that it took me so long to get moving, I lost a few days to feeling like a bucket of arseholes, there.
So, Spammy McSpamerson here, there's a doomduders discount if you guys want anything. PM me for deets, thread is over in BST. I won't clog up the room with anymore spamburgers.

I don't think there are 'doom toanz' to be had in that thing. The fact that they kept saying 'doom market' (without talking about some really rad, metal grocery store) leads me to believe that they all have their heads in their asses and someone told them that doom was popular.
I impulse bought'd an Arrows this morning. I have so little self-control when there is cash in my paypal account.
Anyone wanna buy an Arion Flanger???

fuggit, i keep wanting the eod to not suck and they keep proving to me that it sucks. there's nothing approaching clean (without a mod) so i'mma hafta wait for the guitar center blowout sale to pick one up and mess with it.

The Tone King is the absolute worst way for any new amp to be introduced to the world via demo video. The guy has a preternatural ability to make any piece of gear sound stanky.

I'm thinking the easiest way to reduce the gain is to swap out the preamp tube that controls the main gain section for something like a 12au7 thats alot lower gain. But I'm with you, I really didn't want the EOD to have no clean channel but alas..... someone in their marketing research department needs to be fired.
I mean I could use it for like crust or gnarly black metal where there are no cleans but anyone with a clue about the "Doom Market" would know that they are all about big wattage tube heads with big glass, lots of headroom, and a wicked clean channel.....

Agreed whole heartedly. He just has the money to buy amps as soon as they come out and then make demo's. Plus His videos have alot of hits so companies love him.

Anyone else digging the new Lord Dying album as much as I am? Fuck it's rad, but a little on the short side. That hasn't stopped me from hitting repeat over and over, though.
