mainly the fact that I have a tube amp with a really distinct character to it (Ampeg V2) after years of solid-state. It doesn't quite break up at the level I have it (this is in a bedroom so I'm crazy enough

) but it gets real throaty. I'm recording an album that's largely instrumental/improv-based, so I'm trying to rely less on the usual standbys (fuck, ct5, gb24).

Yes it is definitely easier than using an RC-2. The reverse effect is really cool, pressing it will reverse the loop the point it's at in the playback, instead of restarting the loop but reversed. This is cool because you can basically play the same phrase in a loop over and over if you have good timing. Kind of similiar to the play once of a DL4, but you're not limited to the beginning of a loop.

Bonus Ditto X2 tip: you can access half-speed if you have reverse selected as your "second switch effect" (and vice-versa) by double-tapping the second switch. I use that a lot...

That is one of the sexiest boards I've seen posted here. I probably said that last time as well. But it really is.

thanks

actually this is three boards all put together in one massive 2'x4' board, my bass board [left] and then board of oscillation [top] and "guitar" board [bottom] they are all independently powered and are all mounted on the own board so they can used on their own

It's a hard pedal to dedicate to a board… it's such a fun pedal to pick up and mess with while playing… so now more sitting on the floor

Yeah he he said he changed the input and output caps to a different value to let more lows through, the color I picked as well, he a did a run a few years ago where he let you pick from a bunch of color schemes, there are some really cool ones out there from that run
